Nestled along the picturesque shores of the Firth of Forth, our  whisky & rum distillery offers a insight through the art of whisky making, from grain to glass. Discover our techniques and enjoy the distinct flavors that set our spirits apart.

After your tour is complete, you will make your way to The Lobster Pot restuarant to enjoy a 3 course set menu.

Starters

Haggis Fritters

With a Blackness rum and mustard sauce

Arbroath Smokie Pate

With dressed salad and toasted bread

 

Mains

Highland Burger

A 6oz beef burger topped with haggis and cheeseon a toasted brioche bun with lettuce and mustard mayo. Served with chips and coleslaw.

Steak and Guiness Pie

Slow cooked Scotch beef cooked in a rich gravy with chips and peas

Seafood Macaroni

Cheesy macaroni topped with hot smoked salmon, prawns and crayfish. Served with chips

 

Desserts

Affogatto 

Soft serve ice cream with a shot of espresso and your choice of Blackness rum. (Spiced, white or pink)

Rum soaked Chocolate Cake

Served with Ice cream

What your tour includes

  • Entry to our Distillery Tour
  • 3 course Dinner at the Lobster Pot Restuarant (set menu)

Adult Tickets includes 3 rum and 2 whisky samples to be consumed within the distillery.

Driver Tickets include some samples to take home.

Dinner reservations are automatically booked following your tour and is a 3 course set menu. 

Arrival time

Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the start time of your tour.

Each tour will last approximately 1.5 hours

Our whisky & rum distillery tours are suitable for everyone, children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

Are dogs allowed in the distillery

Yes, dogs are allowed in both our Blackness Bay Distillery and The Lobster Pot restaurant. 

Can my ticket be refunded or cancelled?

Tour tickets can be moved to an alternative date or refunded up to 24 hours before your tour date. 

How do I receive my ticket

All tour tickets that are purchased online will be sent to the email address used at the time of booking. Your ticket with QR code will be sent seperately to the order confirmation email.

I selected the wrong date on my booking, can I change it?

Yes, as long as you contact us within 48 hours of the date you selected to visit us, we can transfer your ticket to an alternative date.

Is there disabled access?

We are fully wheelchair accessible but please email info@blacknessbaydistillery.co.uk to let us know which tour you are on so we show you the entrance and assist.

Where do I go to join the tour

Please meet us in the Lobster Pot beer garden or inside in event of inclement weather, where you will be greeted by your guide. 

Do I need to pre-book for the distillery tour?

No, we can accept walk-ins for our tours, subject to availability.

Our tour dates and times are limited and so we do ask that you contact us ahead of making your journey to avoid any disappointment.

Whether you're a whisky or rum connoisseur or a curious newcomer, a tour at Blackness Bay Distillery promises a delightful blend of education, wonderful views and exceptional taste.

What a tour includes

Adult Tickets includes 3 rum and two whisky samples to be consumed within the distillery.

Dinner reservations are automatically booked for 6pm on your selected day (after the tour) and is a 3 course set menu. 

Arrival time

Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the start time of your tour.

Each tour will last approximately 1.5 hours

If the weather is nice: Please meet in The Lobster Pot Garden

If it's raining: Please meet in The Pub

Have you booked the right date?

Please check your booking dates before you arrive. If you arrive on the wrong date, we may not be able to allow you to enter as we have strict capacity limits.

We do not charge any booking or handling fees. 

Ticket delivery

Your e-ticket/s will be emailed to you after purchase. Please ensure you give us the correct email address at point of purchase.
If you do not receive your email confirmation after you have completed your order, please contact us on info@blacknessbaydistillery.co.uk.

Change Date/Refunds

If your booking is for more than 48 hours in advance you can request a transfer to a different date using our transfer request form.
